Shore Dive – Every Type of Dive Has Its Own Magic!

New to diving? Prefer to keep your fins close to shore? Our guided shore dive is the perfect choice! With calm conditions, a maximum depth of just 7 metres, and no boat required, it’s ideal for newly certified divers, underwater photographers, and anyone wanting a slower-paced, easy-access dive experience.


This dive is also a fantastic option for children, friends, and families who want to embark on an exciting underwater adventure together. Gentle conditions and close supervision make it safe, fun, and memorable for all.


You’ll likely spot baby squid, juvenile conger eels, and many types of crabs like hermit crabs and spider crabs. And of course, you never know what else might come by to say hello!

    Dive Gear collection: We can collect your dive gear from the pier terminal on your arrival if needed.

  • Itinerary

    Arrival & Check-In: Arrive at the dive centre @ 11:30. This gives you plenty of time to get ready and ask any questions.

     

    Gear Up: Get fitted with your rental gear or prepare your own equipment with help from our staff. No need to carry heavy gear. We provide trolleys to easily transport rental equipment to the dive site.


    Dive Briefing: Join your guide for a full briefing on the dive site, safety procedures, and what marine life to look out for.

     

    Short Walk to Dive Site: The dive site is just a short walk from the dive centre—no boat required! Enjoy a quick stroll as you get ready to explore.

    Swimwear and Towel: Essential for your water sessions.


    Warm Clothing: Particularly important during cooler months, to keep you cozy after dive.

  • Can non-diver join this trip?

    No, dive trip is for qualified divers only.

  • Are these trips guided?

    Yes, always.

  • Can I rent dive gear?

    Yes, you can. Full Dive Gear rental includes a wet suit (7mm), Boots (5mm), Gloves (3mm), Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Regulators Set and BCD.

  • What is the water temperature?

    Min. 10°C / 50°F  max 18°C / 65°F (depends on the time of the year).

  • What can I see underwater?

    Because this dive takes place close to shore, you’ll mostly encounter smaller marine creatures – but that’s part of the magic! Keep an eye out for baby squid, young conger eels, and a variety of crabs, including hermit crabs and colourful spider crabs.


    And remember, the ocean’s full of surprises – you never know what else might come by to say hello!

  • I'm a beginner diver can I join this trip?

    Yes, Daily Dive Trips are for you. Your guide will tailor a guided dive plan for you to go scuba diving.

  • How is the water visibility?

    Water visibility can range from 5 meters (17 feet) to infinity, depending on the weather conditions.

  • What type of air tanks do you provide?

    For scuba, we use 12L steel air tanks with single-valve DIN or Yoke.

  • Can I use Nitrox?

    No, we don't have it.

  • Is there drysuit diving only?

    No, we use wetsuits 7mm (extra shorty 5mm if needed) all year round. 

  • If I join this trip can I catch a ferry at 4 pm?

    Yes
